Blastotech™ Bullet Resistant Doors are built with a 1-3/4 inch thick solid ballistic construction, engineered to perform as a complete protective system rather than a standalone door leaf. The door and frame assemblies are manufactured using cold rolled steel, galvannealed steel, galvanized steel, or stainless steel, allowing the system to adapt to both functional and architectural requirements. Standard door face skins are 14 gauge, with an option to upgrade to 12 gauge where higher impact resistance is required. Internally, the doors incorporate a proprietary ballistic core, with alternative configurations including steel-stiffened, polystyrene, or honeycomb cores, selected based on threat level and application. Each door is fully welded, featuring a seamless edge design that eliminates weak points, while the frames use welded corner construction to ensure long-term structural rigidity, alignment, and durability in high-stress environments.
